Fashion Club's Annual Runway Show 2024
As the 2023-2024 Fashion Club President and Runway Director, I spent 8 months planning our end-of-year showcase, alongside a team of 22 board members. The show featured 8 student-designed collections, 7 student stylists from Fashion Club, 50 student models, and a talented team of young photographers. The team and I established sponsorship deals, secured funding, executed marketing activations, and recruited incredible talent to highlight. We also partnered with UCSB's Art, Design, and Architecture museum to host the showcase. We raised over $3,000 in ticket sales and donations to re-invest in the club's future events.
This experience was both incredibly challenging and rewarding. Organizing the show allowed me to collaborate closely with fellow students, designers, models, media outlets, and partnering brands to bring this collective vision to life. The process challenged me to innovate, problem-solve, and manage logistics effectively. It was a perfect finale to my time as president, leaving a lasting impact on both the campus community and my professional development.
